Dr Vincent Cunnane, Chief Executive of Shannon Development, announced the completion of a major reorganisation of the Company today, Wednesday, 29 April 2009.
Making the announcement, Dr Cunnane said, “Since its inception over 50 years ago, Shannon Development has had to change and reinvent itself many times to meet the many challenges that faced the Company and the Region. Today, the Region faces very difficult economic challenges that require a radical response from Shannon Development”.
Dr Cunnane continued “Our organisational changes will see almost 50% of staff taking on new roles and responsibilities. Our aim is to ensure that we make the most effective use of our skilled and experienced staff, that we continue to be innovative and relevant, and that we deliver on our vision of a better future for every citizen of the Shannon Region”
