It is not just about the process of improving our local areas; it is about building community spirit, team work and a sense of pride in our community.
SuperValu prides itself on representing community spirit with SuperValu stores at the heart of 186 communities around the country. SuperValu retailers both live and work in the communities in which they operate. They are actively involved in supporting local initiatives and take great pride in their stores acting as community hubs where people meet neighbours and are greeted on a personal level, particularly in an age when supermarkets are becoming increasingly anonymous.
We have been involved in this competition for over 17 years and are delighted to have renewed our sponsorship for another five years.”
