As a result the visit which was co-ordinated by Shannon Development, the scenic beauty of County Clare will feature in a new Discovery Channel series entitled “Life’s a trip” with presenter Andrew Anthony.

The itinerary for the Co. Clare film shoot was organised by Shannon Development and the journey took the crew to the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, and the heart of the Burren Region. Part of the focus of the programme was to showcase Irish castles and among those that will feature are Dromoland Castle Hotel in Newmarket-on-Fergus and Knappogue Castle near Quin. Shannon Airport will also feature in the programme.
