Shannon Development Shows Strong Commitment to Limerick with Two Senior Management Appointments
Shannon Development has announced the appointment of two new Regional Development Managers for Limerick City and County. Finbarr Brougham as been appointed Regional Development Manager for Limerick County, and Eoghan Prendergast has been appointed Regional Development Manager for Limerick City.
Making the announcements, Eugene Brennan, Director of Development and Marketing, Shannon Development, said “The appointment of two experienced executives to these senior management positions shows clearly Shannon Development’s strong commitment and focus on the future development of Limerick City and County at the centre of the Shannon Region”
Finbarr Brougham has been with Shannon Development for over 25 years and in that time has worked in a number of different business sectors with the company, including property and industrial development. He is a native of Limerick City and was educated at Limerick CBS, Sexton Street, and the University of Limerick, and is married with four children. Finbarr has been deeply involved in the development of Limerick County over the last number of years and has lead a number of Shannon Development initiatives in the County. Finbarr has strong Limerick sporting ties and was captain of the Harty Cup team in Sexton Street during his school years and hurled with Limerick at minor level. Finbarr will also have responsibility for Raheen Business Park.
Eoghan Prendergast has worked in a range of senior positions in Shannon Development for over 20 years. He is a native of Limerick City and was educated at Crescent College Comprehensive, and the University of Limerick, and is married with three children. He comes from a family with strong Limerick connections, with his father Frank Prendergast holding the office of Mayor of Limerick on two occasions. Eoghan also has strong Limerick sporting ties as a player and official with Garryowen and Limerick Leprechauns rugby clubs. Eoghan will also have responsibility for the National Technological Park.
Pat Daly, former Regional Development Manager for Limerick, was recently appointed Tourism Marketing Manager for the Shannon Region.
