Last year’s Emerging category Award winner in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards was the hugely successful Kerry Technology Park Company Stockbyte, which was subsequently bought out by multinational Getty Images for $135m.
The 2006 shortlist of 24 finalists was decided from a competitive pool of over 150 business and individual entries across the island of Ireland . The finalists represent companies in manufacturing, food, property & construction, technology, mature tree production, recruitment & training and sports retail.

FreeFlow has been nominated in the Emerging section of the competition with eight finalists in this category for around Ireland . Finalist will be judged in three overall categories: International; Industry and Emerging. A winner will be announced in each category and all will compete for the coveted overall title of Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 which will be unveiled in a ceremony on September 28th in Dublin ’s Citywest Hotel, broadcast on the same night on RTE ONE.
